In the midst of our excitement of getting there, we too forgot to take screenshots. Common story, I know. Tom is also not giving all of the details, and he also doesn't have photoshop. While briefly in my guild, he used MSPaint to make his guild avatar. Displeased us when he wouldn't use a proper one so we kicked him. There was still another step. Firstly, it has to be three people. Why? Gift of Griffons of course, one for each party member. Admiral... uh, whatever his name is gives you the quest "Path to Light". Basically, from him you run to the first tower and speak with Rastigan, and the griffons follow you once again. Rastigan will send you to the Eternal Weaponsmith and his gang, speak with Zurotai once you reach there. Those three mount the griffons and head to the Admiral. Head to the temple of war, speak with the forgemaster, and the eternal there (taeres is it? The one who gives you Tower of Strength). They'll head to the Admiral as well. Head to the beach, speak with the admiral again. Get ready, cause you'll get swamped by the shadow army and have to fight menzies himself at the end. Didn't see what skills he was using, the griffons and eternals killed him too quickly while the 3 of us were taking out the shadow army. Thankfully, no beasts. I guess Anet figured it wouldn't be fair to have SS tossed around on characters who can't call hexes.

Once Menzies drops, you get a whopping 10k exp for your efforts and a big thank you for finally ending the chaos that has plague the lands or something along those lines. Speak with Zurotai, he informs you that the griffons have been instructed to lead you to Heaven's Gate, a land hidden from mortals, and all knowledge of its existance has been wiped from even the Hall of Heroes.

I have one screenshot of our time there, but you'll see it basically isn't worth it. You can't form a full group.

So when did you take the SS of the map? Since you got to the town at the time of the rollback, after the rollback it would not be on your map. Yawn.

Oh, and that portal to Snakedance? why would they put a portal there when you can't get to it on the Snakedance side?
